From 20+-year-old vines, the 2022 Morges Vieilles Vignes Esprit Terroir is clear and subtle yet also intense on the elegant, transparent and detailed nose that reveals bright fruit as well as earthy and flinty notes. Round and lush yet also refined and balanced on the palate, this full-bodied Chasselas is pretty charming and, in a discreet way, rich. The acidity is lively fresh and stimulatingly saline, which gives a savory and structured, persistent finish. This wine has excellent quality with aging potential from Morges.
